Një vështrim i përgjithshëm i politikave dhe përpjekjeve rreth P/CVE në Ballkanin Perëndimor

Ekstremizmi i dhunshëm dhe terrorizmi kanë shkaktuar një shqetësim mbarëbotëror që çon në një mobilizim global për të inicuar qasje shumëdisiplinore në trajtimin e çështjes. Pasi trazirat në Siri ndezën një luftë civile dhe filloi agresioni rus në Ukrainë, vendet e Ballkanit Perëndimor u përballën me një sfidë serioze pasi u bënë vatra të luftëtarëve të huaj kur një numër i qytetarëve të tyre iu bashkuan këtyre konflikteve. Parandalimi i qytetarëve të tyre për t'iu bashkuar konflikteve të huaja, si dhe akteve të dhunës dhe terrorizmit në shënjestër ishte me rëndësi të madhe për këto vende. Qëllimi i kësaj analize të politikave është të hedhë dritë mbi mënyrën se si gjashtë vendet e Ballkanit Perëndimor u përballën me parandalimin dhe luftimin e ekstremizmit të dhunshëm (P/CVE). Ai synohet të jetë i pari i një serie analizash mbi këtë çështje. Ndërsa ky punim do të fokusohet në nisma specifike të vendit dhe analiza të bazuara në aktorë, publikimet e ardhshme do të ofrojnë një këndvështrim statistikor rajonal në lidhje me fenomenin e luftëtarëve të huaj, duke përfshirë nismat e riatdhesimit dhe riintegrimit, dënimet, si dhe sfidat me të cilat përballen gjashtë vendet e Ballkanit Perëndimor.

Open Call for Website Design, Development and Content Migration Services

The Prishtina Institute for Political Studies (PIPS) invites qualified companies, agencies, development teams, and individual professionals to submit proposals for the development of a new institutional website.

PIPS is redeveloping www.pips-ks.org to create a modern, secure, accessible, multilingual, and user-friendly platform that better reflects its programmes, research, publications, activities, and institutional identity.

The selected service provider will be responsible for the website’s development, content migration, testing, deployment, training, and launch. Key features will include multilingual content in Albanian, English, and Serbian, a user-friendly CMS, searchable content, online forms, a dedicated School of Politics application system, responsive design, and appropriate security, accessibility, SEO, and data protection measures.

Responsible Reporting on Dealing with the Past and Media Challenges in Kosovo

PIPS has published a new policy brief with the title 'Responsible Reporting on Dealing with the Past and Media Challenges in Kosovo' examining the role of the media in reporting on dealing with the past, transitional justice, and reconciliation in Kosovo. The brief, authored by Besian Beha and peer reviewed by Korab Krasniqi, highlights the challenges faced by journalists and media outlets when covering sensitive issues related to war, victims, justice processes, and social cohesion.

This publication was produced as part of the project “Building Bridges of Accountability: The Path to Reconciliation II” implemented by PIPS. Shkolla Politike 2026 (Gjenerata e 24-të)

Shkolla Politike 2026 – Gjenerata 24 mbledh së bashku profesionistë të rinj nga institucione, parti politike, shoqëri civile, media, akademi dhe sektorë të tjerë për një vit diskutimesh, seminareve dhe shkëmbimi mbi politikën, demokracinë, lidershipin dhe sfidat bashkëkohore në Kosovë, rajon dhe më gjerë. Programi synon të forcojë njohuritë, mendimin kritik, bashkëpunimin dhe zhvillimin e lidershipit tek pjesëmarrësit.

Programi i këtij viti është i ndërtuar rreth pesë moduleve tematike, të cilat trajtojnë disa nga sfidat më të rëndësishme politike dhe shoqërore në Kosovo, rajon dhe më gjerë. Në këtë dokument, njihuni me grupin dhe me përvojat, perspektivat dhe energjinë që secili prej tyre sjell në këtë gjeneratë të re të Shkollës Politike.

The Prishtina Institute for Political Studies (PIPS) presents its Organizational Strategy 2025–2030 at a critical moment for Kosovo’s democratic development. Amid growing political polarization, social fragmentation, and geopolitical uncertainty, the strategy reaffirms PIPS’ role as a trusted, independent platform for political education, dialogue, and leadership development.

Building on over two decades of experience and a strong alumni network of more than 700 young professionals, PIPS will focus on strengthening inclusive leadership, fostering collaboration across divides, and promoting constructive political dialogue. The strategy places particular emphasis on youth engagement, social cohesion, interparty dialogue, and evidence-based policymaking as key drivers for a democratic, peaceful, and inclusive Kosovo.

Through its flagship School of Politics, expanded alumni initiatives, and structured dialogue platforms, PIPS aims to counter polarization, support accountable governance, and contribute meaningfully to Kosovo’s European integration path over the next five years.
