Annual Conference of the School for Political Studies and the Closing of the Academic Year 2016

On December 19th 2016, PIPS held the annual conference of the School for Political Studies and the closing ceremony of the academic year 2016 for the 14th generation. The topic of this conference was: The challenges of democracy and political communication in 2016: How to move forward?. The conference was focused on the main political, economic and social developments in Kosovo during 2016 and challenges that await Kosovo in 2017. These issues were addressed from a panel composed by distinguished figures of the political and civil life in Kosovo, simultaneously alumni and contributors of the School of Politics: Leonora KRYEZIU, Gjylieta MUSHKOLAJ, Shpend AHMETI, Valon MURATI, Uran ISMAILI, Ardian GJINI, Dastid PALLASKA, Laura KRYEZIU, and Petrit ZOGAJ.

On July 7, the Pristina Institute for Political Studies (PIPS) published the policy analysis "Rationalization of Independent Agencies and Regulators in Kosovo". The analysis drafted after a period of several months of research provides an overview of the current situation of public administration reform, namely the implementation of the rationalization of independent, executive and regulatory agencies.
