The Second Seminar of the School of Politics 2023 was an absolute blast in beautiful Durres! We had a whirlwind weekend filled with insightful discussions, engaging lectures, and a whole lot of fun!
Our first day kicked off with an intriguing lecture by the charismatic Mr. Neritan Sejamini. He delved into the topic of 'The role of ideology on the formation of public policies and the economic development of the state.' The group later engaged in lively group work and discussions.
Day two was just as exhilarating! We were fortunate to have not one, but two incredible speakers. Mr. Edison Jakurti elaborated on 'The importance and role of the state in economic development and the responses of the left on the appropriate reforms for Kosovo.' While Mr. Adri Nurellari exchanged his views on 'Economic development through the free market and right development policies.' These thought-provoking lectures left us buzzing with fresh perspectives and ideas.
But the excitement didn't end there! In the afternoon, the vibrant Mrs. Donjeta Sahatciu from the Municipality of Prishtina unraveled the intricacies of 'Central and local policies for encouraging development in the technology and education sector'. We delved deep into discussions about fostering cooperation with the private sector and CSOs.
On the last day, we wrapped up the seminar with two amazing lectures that left us hungry for more.
Mr. Avni Sfishta talked about 'Energy policies in Kosovo in the light of strategic political decisions and the implementation of the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans.' The discussion on energy and the Green Agenda sparked intense interest, leading to an energetic Q&A session.
We concluded the seminar with Mr. Shpend Lila! It was a pleasure to have him at the School of Politics for the first time as he explored the fascinating theme of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and 'Investments in digital infrastructure, education, and training programs.'
