November 2025
The participants of the School of Politics, Generation 23, stayed in Strasbourg from November 4 to 8, where they took part in the World Forum for Democracy 2025, held this year under the theme “Democracy at Risk: How Can We Revive It?”.
On the first day, the group attended the opening sessions at the Council of Europe, which addressed the role of media in strengthening or weakening democracy, culture as a pillar of democratic resilience, and the future of citizen participation. In the following days, participants joined several thematic “Lab Sessions,” discussing the impact of artificial intelligence on democratic processes, new forms of political engagement, and innovative ways to enhance transparency and public trust in institutions.
On the first evening, the group was warmly welcomed by Ambassador Hiseni and the staff of the Consulate of Kosovo in Strasbourg, where they discussed Kosovo’s engagement with the Council of Europe and its prospects for full membership. On the second morning, the group also had the opportunity to visit the European Court of Human Rights.
It was a trip filled with valuable experiences, inspiring discussions, and, of course, plenty of fun and positive energy from the Generation 23 group!
A special thank-you goes to the Council of Europe for their continuous support, and to the Consulate of the Republic of Kosovo in Strasbourg for their warm hospitality and cooperation.
