The second Seminar of School of Politics is being held this week. The central topic of this Seminar is Democracy and Development menawhile the debates will be focused on concepts such as: models of development, the competences of local and national level on the development of a country, the relation between rule of law and economic development.

PIPS signs the Memorandum of Understanding in Sarajevo

On 4th of December Prishtina Institute for Political Studies signed the agreement with the seven countries of the South-East Europe, the Baltic Environmental Forum Germany(BEF) and and German Organisation Deutsche fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit- the Open Regional Fund for South East Europe- Energy Efficiency, (GIZ).

The roundtable ‘Prospects of Kosovo membership to Council of Europe’ was held today. The goal of this roundtable was discussing the Kosovo membership to Council of Europe. Present in the roundtable were: Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga, ex Foreign Affairs Minister Enver Hoxhaj, Human Rights Expert Gjylieta Mushkolaj and Fisnik Korenica Expert of law.

On July 7, the Pristina Institute for Political Studies (PIPS) published the policy analysis "Rationalization of Independent Agencies and Regulators in Kosovo". The analysis drafted after a period of several months of research provides an overview of the current situation of public administration reform, namely the implementation of the rationalization of independent, executive and regulatory agencies.
