On 3 March PIPS published the second edition of the Annual Review of Kosovo’s Foreign Affairs, in the presence of Kosovo Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Glauk Konjufca, and political scientist Mr. Blerim Vela.
20 journalists from prominent Kosovar media attended the Seminar on Energy and Environment, organized by PIPS on 21-23 February.
On 27 December, the first meeting with journalists was held as part of the program “Journalists in the field of energy and environment”. During this meeting the detailed program was presented for the participants as well as the current situation in Kosovo regarding energy and environment policies.
The end of the year also marks the conclusion of the year-round program of the 2019 School for Political Studies. On 16 December, together with collaborators and alumni we held the closing ceremony for the 17th generation of School for Political Studies.
On December 17, PIPS published the results of the survey International Politics and the Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue in collaboration with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS).
On 2 December PIPS held an event on the topic “Parliament’s engagement in sustainable urban planning: Developing policies in favour of citizens’ mobility, relieving traffic congestion and a healthier environment”, together with a panel of urban planning experts and MPs. During this event we’ve broadly discussed about planning cities that adjust to citizens, rather than cars and overload, and national-level coordination.
