Prishtina School of Politics organized the third Seminar of School of Politics on Foreign Affairs and National Security. The Seminar discussed topics as: bilateral and multilateral relations between Balkan countries, the European future of Region and the enlargement process, Foreign Policy of Kosovo and the role of USA, EU and Russia in the Balkans.

On 22 June, Pristina Institute for Political Studies organized the first training of informants who will be on the ground during the dates June 27-July 3, collecting survey data on perceptions of Kosovars regarding the Stabilization Association Agreement.

OPEN CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR SCHOOL FOR POLITICAL STUDIES 2021

1 December 2020

Prishtina School for Political Studies has opened the call for application for the admission of candidates for the nineteenth generation (19).

School for Political Studies is one of the first non-formal political education programs in Kosovo and the oldest program that is still active. School for Political Studies has been implemented by the Prishtina Institute for Political Studies since 2003 through the support of the Council of Europe.

The aim of the program is to promote a new political culture for young leaders in line with the three key principles of the Council of Europe: democracy, rule of law and human rights. Throughout a year 30 participants coming from political parties, media, civil society, public administration etc. have the opportunity to attend modules with lectures from eminent local and international speakers. The program is currently implemented in 22 different countries around the world and graduates are certified by the Council of Europe and the Secretary General of this organization.

The roundtable ‘Prospects of Kosovo membership to Council of Europe’ was held today. The goal of this roundtable was discussing the Kosovo membership to Council of Europe. Present in the roundtable were: Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga, ex Foreign Affairs Minister Enver Hoxhaj, Human Rights Expert Gjylieta Mushkolaj and Fisnik Korenica Expert of law.

Our panelists were Dhurata Hoxha - Minister of European Integration, Nataliya Apostolova - Head of EU Office in Kosovo and Gerrie Willems - Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Kosovo.
