Përmbyllet me sukses seminari i I-rë i Gjeneratës së 20-të të Shkollës Politike!
Gjatë datave 1,2 dhe 3 prill, PIPS mbajti seminarin e I-rë me gjeneratën e 20-të të Shkollës Politike me temën “Shteti dhe Shoqëria”, e cila u karakterizua me ligjërata, diskutime të frytshme si dhe debate dhe punë në grupe. Shkolla Politike ishte me fat të kishte pjesë së saj ligjërues me tema të ndryshme si: Dr. Fisnik Korenica (Shteti si kornizë themelore e jetës politike: Shtetndërtimi dhe sovraniteti), Dr. Lumir Abdixhiku (Zhvillimi Politik), Dr. Gëzim Krasniqi (Marrëdhëniet ndërmjet Shtetit dhe Shoqërisë), Dr. Ramadan Ilazi (Zbërthimi i konceptit të shtetit në kontekstin e studimeve të paqes dhe konfliktit), Prof. Iain McMenamin (Përcaktimi, matja dhe luftimi i korrupsionit), Dr. Seb Bytyçi (Institucionet në vendet në transformim), Dr. Bernard Nikaj (Procesi i Integrimit Evropian) dhe Dr. Gëzim Visoka (Paqendërtimi dhe drejtësia tranzicionale).
Gjenerata e 20-të solli një frymë dhe dinamikë të re në Shkollën Politike.

Prishtina School for Political Studies has opened the call for application for the admission of candidates for the twentieth generation (20).
WHO CAN APPLY?
Candidates who can apply to attend the School for Political Studies program must meet the criteria:
Representatives of political parties, public institutions, media, NGOs or business;
Possess a Bachelor's degree at least;
Knowledge of English language is mandatory;
Citizens of the Republic of Kosovo;
Active and aspiring to stand out in their field.

In cooperation with Center for Humanitarian Dialogue PIPS has held a workshop "Youth, Human Security and Safe Communities" during 11-12 December, with young people from all ethnic communities in Kosovo.
The workshop was opened with welcoming speeches by the Deputy Prime Minister Mrs. Emilija Redžepi and Minister Mr. Elbert Krasniqi.
With Dr. Ramadan Ilazi as facilitator of the workshop the participants were engaged in work in groups which focused on discussing: physical, economic, social-administrative and cultural security.
Together the participants outlined the main challenges within these areas, identified the key actors and provided solutions to address these challenges.
Through the following activities, participants will have the opportunity to present these findings to key institutions.

On 8 December PIPS held a discussion regarding what Kosovo institutions are doing to tackle issues of violent extremism. This discussion was held as part of the Resilient Community Program (a consortium between Advocacy Training and Resource Center - ATRC, PEN - Peer Educators Network, Balkan Investigative Reporting Network and Prishtina Institute for Political Studies) supported by the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund - GCERF and USAID.
The panel was attended by Mrs. Ganimete Gërbovci from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mrs. Adelina Ahmeti from BIRN Kosovo, and Mr. Skënder Përteshi from the Kosovar Center for Security Studies - KCSS.
This discussion essentially addressed the combination of different measures taken by Kosovo institutions, also taking into account the views from the media and civil society.

Our commitment to foreign policy analysis and diplomacy has been marked by another achievement.
On December 6, 2021 Mrs. Leonora Kryeziu, Director of PIPS and Mr. Sabri Kiçmari, General Director of the Diplomatic Academy have signed a memorandum of cooperation between the two institutions.
